Ce jardin est dédié à la mémoire du Dr. Richard Brummitt, botaniste spécialiste en flore alpine auprès du jardin botanique de Kew Gardens, Londres.  Il résidait ici en 1994 et 1995 et donnait librement de ses conseils pour le design de ce jardin.


This garden is dedicated to Dr Richard Brummitt, botanist at Kew Gardens and specialist in Alpine flora.  He stayed here in 1994 and 1995 with his sister and 2 of his children and gave invaluable advice on the content and layout of this garden.
